Samsung Problems We Fix Most
Laundry is where Samsung calls start for us: front-load and top-load washers that stop draining, won’t spin or throw an unbalance code mid-cycle, and dryers that tumble but stay cold. In the kitchen it’s refrigerators that build ice in the ice-maker compartment or warm up in the fresh-food section, ranges with a burner or bake problem, and microwaves whose door latch or switch fails.
- Washer water-supply (4C) and drain (5C/5E) codes, unbalance (dC/UB) and leaking door boots
- Dryer runs but doesn’t heat: heating element, thermal fuse or vent restriction
- French-door ice maker freezing up, evaporator fan icing, warm fresh-food section
- Microwave that won’t start because of a door latch or switch failure
Samsung Parts We Replaced This Year
From our own service tickets over the past twelve months where the brand was recorded as Samsung: dryer heating elements (the Samsung part that appears most often by name), washer drain pumps, suspension rod and spring assemblies, a tub-to-pump hose, a front-load door boot seal on a WF218-series washer, a dryer idler assembly, a refrigerator evaporator fan motor, a microwave latch-and-switch assembly and a turntable motor. Most of these jobs needed one part and one visit once the part was in hand.
What a Samsung Repair Usually Costs
The visit starts with the $89 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you go ahead. Across all brands, half of the washer repairs we completed last year came in between about $365 and $480 in total, and dryer repairs between about $290 and $400. See our full repair-cost breakdown for every appliance.
Samsung Repair Questions
Is it worth fixing a Samsung washer that shows a drain code?
Usually. A drain code is most often a clogged pump filter, a blocked hose or a failed drain pump, all single-part repairs. We check the filter and hose first so you don’t pay for a pump you don’t need.
Why does my Samsung refrigerator keep icing up?
Ice that builds in the ice-maker compartment or around the evaporator usually points to a defrost or airflow problem. The technician traces which part is letting moisture freeze before replacing anything.
Do you repair Samsung appliances still under the factory warranty?
Samsung sends in-warranty repairs to its own service network, so check your warranty first. Once it has expired, or if you have a home warranty we work with, we can take the call.
